Sapulpa City council meeting November 16th 2020

My public comment- “My name is Tori Alysha Williams and my address is documented on the sign in sheet for any city official who wants it. I am a homeschooling mom who has been studying & practicing aromatherapy for 5 years. I value health, truth, & pleasing God.
I am not here to convince anyone of my beliefs or to persuade anyone to do anything that would compromise their foundational religious values and beliefs. To mandate masks and to ask me to wear a mask, however, is asking me to compromise my foundational religious beliefs and values, and that I will not do, I will not compromise scripture for what the world says is right. I read my Bible and I have faith. I will not deny God before all of you here today.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Psalm 34:4
I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
PROVERBS 9:10
Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Galatians 1:10
For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Ephesians 6: 10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Psalm 91:1-16
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”…He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you…For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways…“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him…”
The Bible is clear on who my healing comes from, where my help comes from, and on what I shall fear. I fear displeasing God. I fear denying God. To put on a mask to me would be denying my God in Heaven, it’s a symbol of obedience to and a symbol of trust in the CDC, and let me be clear, the CDC is not my God, big pharma is not my God. The CDC does not know all. God knows all. The promises in the Bible are true and I will not deny scripture.
Faith-filled believed of Jesus Christ, you can remove your mask, God sees our every need before we even ask.
I am so thankful that here in Sapulpa Oklahoma, in the Bible Belt of the USA, no one has the right to force anyone to compromise their foundational religious beliefs & values.”
