For several years now, I’ve kept ALL the notifications turned OFF for all Social Media on my phone/laptop. I never see incoming FB/IG messages as they come in, & I never see notifications popping up (thanks to keeping all notifications turned off).
While I do want friends & readers to have a way to contact me, simply put–FB/IG isn’t always the best way to do that. Sometimes I open messages and am unable to respond in the moment and the messages get lost, sometimes messages never get opened.
THUS, here is a SOLUTION! 🙂
